MT2 is a GSM Phase 2+ Mobile Termination type 2 with R-GSM and ASCI extension. The module operates within the GSM-R frequency range at a maximum transmission power of 8W (GSM Power Class 2). MT2 supports GPRS multi-slot class 10 with operation mode classes B, C, CS (optional). The protocol software complies with R97 GSM specification and is approved according to GFC 3.14.
